Ms. Helene Juhola is the Director R&D of the Federation of the Finnish Media Industry in Helsinki (VKL), Finland, responsible for the coordination of the technical research and development of the Finnish media industry. She is also the representative of two research foundations - the Graphic Industry Research Foundation and the Economic Research Foundation of the Media Industry in Finland.

Ms. Juhola holds a M. Sc. Tech. degree from the Technical University of Helsinki. Before her current job she was engaged at VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland) as the Research Manager of Media Research field. She is the member of IFRA (Association for Newspaper and Media Publishing) European Committee. Since 2002 Ms. Juhola has been a member of the Technical Association of Graphic Arts (TAGA) Board of Directors. In 2005 she received Michael H. Bruno TAGA Award for her achievements.

Mrs. Juhola was elected as the president of iarigai in 2003, re-elected in 2005 for the second term and again in 2007 for the third one.
